  1. One other price realized that should be mentioned is the sale of one of the very greatest Canaveral plates, The Mahar and Virgin, which sold in an all cash (no trade) deal for $150,000. This deal was consummated three years ago. The piece currently resides in China with a collector who specializes in sumi-e ink wash paintings and drawings.
